AI course for tourism destinations and management bodies

Upskill your team and launch your 360° agent ecosystem: visitor services, support for local businesses, promotion, internal processes and data. A training and implementation programme for councils, tourism boards, regional bodies and associations.

AI is no longer “a chat that writes text”.

We have entered the agentic shift.

We no longer search: we converse. Travellers discover and plan by asking AI, and destination management relies on agents that run processes, share data and spot opportunities. If AI doesn't know your destination, it won't recommend it.

The real challenge

It's not a data problem: it's processes and people

Destinations accumulate data through tourism intelligence systems, smart-destination certifications and sustainability projects, but the bottleneck is the day-to-day: reports written by hand, outdated content, improvised campaigns, businesses asking the same questions every week and teams with no time. Agentic AI puts those processes in order — and technology only matters when it is used: success is not delivering software, it is securing adoption by the management team and the local business network.

Agent ecosystem: visitors, businesses, content and data

What you will learn to implement

Six work areas based on projects we are already delivering with destinations, tourism boards and associations.

Autonomous destination agents

Build your first agents with Manus and Claude: visitor services, support for local businesses, content and analysis. Not a chatbot — an ecosystem that executes tasks.

GEO positioning for the destination

Make sure your destination and its businesses show up when travellers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini where to go, sleep or what to do. If AI doesn't know you, it won't recommend you.

360° promotion campaigns

Turn a promotion idea into a coherent campaign across web, social, newsletter and media, with a campaign brain that keeps the destination narrative consistent.

Communication, service and reputation

Listen to what is said about the destination, classify incidents and reply with the right institutional tone: notices, press releases, social media and citizen support.

Internal processes of the management body

Activate the AI already inside Google Workspace and Microsoft 365: reports, minutes, tenders, grants and no-code workflows. Less admin work.

Data and decision-making

From tourism data systems and manual spreadsheets to a live dashboard: occupancy, source markets, flows and saturation, with chat over your data and automated alerts.

Value proposition

Beyond the technology

Pillar 1

People before software

We don't hand over a licence and leave. We upskill officers, managers and leadership so AI is used every day in real destination processes.

Pillar 2

Agents with your destination's DNA

Trained on your documentation, regulations, tourism data and institutional tone of voice. Nothing generic: bespoke engineering on your territory.

Pillar 3

Continuity and shared intelligence

Phase 1 builds the foundations; then each destination deepens its own roadmap while sharing knowledge and aggregated data with the network.

Use cases

AI in the daily life of a destination

Visitor services

An agent answers 24/7 in several languages before, during and after the trip, and refers travellers to local businesses when relevant.

Fewer repetitive queries at the tourist office

Support for local businesses

A hotel or restaurant asks about regulations, grants or campaigns and gets an instant answer based on up-to-date official documentation.

The destination supports its businesses without overloading the team

Content management

An agent keeps destination information consistent and up to date across the website, listings, maps, directories and campaigns.

One coherent narrative across every channel

Smart analysis

The agent cross-references what people ask, what they search for and what is missing, and prepares the executive report for Monday's meeting.

Decisions based on real demand, not intuition

Methodology

From audit to operation

01

Setup and audit

We configure the technology environment and analyse the starting point: processes, data, channels and the destination's visibility in AI engines.

02

Team training

Intensive, hands-on training for officers and managers: from occasional chat use to AI as a real working tool.

03

Agent rollout

Deployment of specialised agents (visitors, businesses, content, analysis) interconnected and fed with your own documentation.

04

GEO positioning

Optimising the visibility of the destination and its offer in generative answer engines and across maps and directories.

05

Continuity plan

Delivery of the playbook: an individual roadmap for the destination plus a joint proposal to share data and knowledge between destinations.

Training programme

Intensive upskilling and knowledge transfer

Module 1 · From generative AI to agentic AI

From chat to agents that execute tasks. A cross-cutting view of the management body: processes, data and tools. Your first agent live with Manus.

Module 2 · GEO positioning and content agents

How travellers discover destinations by asking AI. Technical foundations, data governance across maps and directories, and your destination SEO/GEO agent.

Module 3 · 360° promotion campaigns with AI

From brief to landing page, channel messaging, calendar and measurement. A campaign brain in Manus and Claude that protects the destination narrative.

Module 4 · Communication, service and reputation

A reputation listening agent and an institutional communication agent: notices, press releases, social media and incident responses in your own tone.

Module 5 · Internal processes of the management body

Native AI in Google Workspace (Gemini) and Microsoft 365 (Copilot): reports, minutes and no-code automations for day-to-day administration.

Module 6 · Data, dashboards and decisions

From manual spreadsheets to a live destination dashboard: occupancy, markets, flows and saturation, with chat over your data and automated alerts.

Final project

The playbook: your destination's AI action plan

The programme doesn't end with a theory exam, but with a strategic plan for the destination and its ecosystem already up and running.

  • Initial diagnosis and destination process map
  • Agent ecosystem defined and running
  • GEO strategy for the destination and its offer
  • 3-5 processes prioritised by impact
  • 90-day implementation roadmap

Frequently asked questions

Do we need prior technical knowledge?

No. The programme is designed for both technical and executive profiles with no previous AI experience, always working on real destination cases.

Is this only training, or also implementation?

Both. Training comes with the real deployment of agents, the GEO strategy and a continuity plan. You finish with a working system, not just notes.

What happens when the programme ends?

The team can manage, maintain and scale the AI ecosystem autonomously. We hand over technical documentation, manuals and the phase 2 roadmap.

How much does the programme cost?

It is designed to fit within the Spanish public administration minor-contract threshold (max. €15,000 per destination), which speeds up procurement. The exact price is set after the initial audit.

Which organisations can take part?

City councils, tourism boards, regional councils, associations of tourist municipalities, business associations and any body managing a destination.

Is the training onsite or online?

Both. High-impact workshops are onsite; theory modules, recorded lessons and ongoing support are delivered online.

Your destination's future starts now

We engineer with your territory's own data and regulations. Our goal is to make ourselves unnecessary: your team running the AI ecosystem autonomously.
