The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) — Spain’s largest public institution dedicated to scientific and technical research, and one of the most significant in Europe — has approved a contract with Growtur for an artificial intelligence pilot. The project focuses on adopting AI thoughtfully: from selecting resources to setting up a solid, secure working environment that is ready to grow.
For us, the value goes beyond providing access to technology. It lies in helping an organization decide how to adopt it and supporting the people who will use it.
Support from the very beginning
Work has already started. We are carrying out an initial assessment to guide the strategic selection of the pilot’s 100 licences and establish a solid, scalable foundation from day one.
This is not simply about distributing access. It is about understanding the organization’s needs, guiding resource allocation and setting up a working environment with clear security, administration and usage criteria. Tools are one part of the project; strategy and management give them purpose.
A secure environment, with people supported
Security is part of the approach from the outset: how the environment is organized, who has access and with which permissions, and what principles should guide AI use and information handling.
Our support extends from strategic setup to day-to-day use. Beyond the supply and initial setup covered by the contract, we are also helping with training and guidance so that people can bring AI into their work thoughtfully and confidently.
Having technology does not automatically mean knowing how to make the most of it. The difference is having a team that helps make decisions, answers questions and supports adoption.
A service we already deliver with other destinations
This is Growtur’s service: strategy, setup and ongoing guidance to bring AI into each organization’s everyday work. It is an approach we have used with Turespaña, are developing in Lloret and apply with other destinations, adapting it to their needs.
